And that game just so happened to be House.

One of the girls, a long-haired brunette, was happy to be the daughter in this make-believe.

And, not really wanting to make any of them upset, Masanobu had a starring role in this roleplay as well.

Judy looked at the teenager sitting beside her, who was smiling at her. The darkness outside was off-set by the small Christmas tree inside, its lights flickering in a set pattern. It was only the two of them inside the small house. Ever since the incident, Masanobu had asked the older woman if he could stay with her, rather than stay all alone at his own place, or be taken to a different home.

He was always a diligent worker, and a sweet boy deep down; how could she say no to him?

After they had finished their quiet dinner for two, they retired
